Quick Entry #15: What Happened To Michael Darnell Bell Jr?

This is a quick entry. I needed to remain active. And my personal life is still a mess for the most part. I will try and adjust for this by writing as much as I can. This case is interesting. I hope you enjoy the read. Also, seeing that I prefer older music to newer music. I usually dedicate a song from that year to the case. And for me personally. 2011 was a bad year. So I went back to the year Mike was born. And dedicated "Kyrie" by Mr. Mister.
Happy Valentines Day

September 16th, 2011: It's been reported that at some point during the day Mike had been in contact with his mother by phone. Mike was last seen on CCTV leaving and re-entering his 131 S. Ave Apartment 63 address. He was observed carrying several things out to his car. He was last captured leaving at around 3 pm that day. Mike was driving his mother's 4 door 2002 Toyota Camry. License Plate BS20VB. In the early morning hours of the next day, At around 3:15 am, Mike was approached by two California Highway Patrol Officers as he was sitting in his car. This was around 4 hours north of Los Angeles on Interstate 5 near Russel Ave. When approached Mike said he was out of gas and he just attended a religious service that he didn't like. They stated he didn't appear in distress at all. The Officers didn't want to leave him stranded at that time of night. So they offered him a ride to the Chevron Station at 46330 W. Panoche Rd. in Firebaugh, CA. (Fresno County) The car was left at the location. On the Southbound Side of Highway 5 near Russel Ave. North of the Chevron Gas Station.

He advised The Officers he would be alright. The Officers last stated they saw him walking towards the outside doors of the gas station's restroom.

Two days later the car was impounded still at the location the officers and Mike left it. In the ensuing days, Mike's family attempted to call him numerous times. To no avail.

September 22nd 2011: After their attempts to contact Mike had failed. His mother and sister returned to Los Angeles. Upon entering his apartment they found some spoiled food in the microwave. Along with his phone. He was reported missing on the 22nd.

Aftermath

Since the day the officers dropped him off at the Chevron. Mike has not been seen or heard from again. Mike was 25 years old at the time and was the father of a young son when he went missing. No further developments have been made in the case since Mike went missing.

Analysis

So little to go on. Where was Mike coming from when he ran out of gas? What was he packing up in his car the day prior to his disappearance.  There is a Church Of Scientology in Los Angeles. But it's not anywhere near where his car was found. There are also churches in Modesto and San Jose. Which are in that general direction. I don't understand the point of dropping him off at the gas station. If it wasn't to get him gas. If the officers were worried about leaving him there. Why not wait for him to pay for some gas and take him back to his car? Otherwise he is in more danger walking back carrying some gas along the interstate. Also, The names of the officers who assisted Mike are absent from any reports online. At least from what I saw. Was he planning on driving to California or flying there? When you read the info online it makes it seem as though he was packing for a trip.
