I basically chose this case because I had already made this poster and downloaded most of the articles for this case for someone who does their own work. At one point we were looking to do something together. Her team decided not to use this poster or any of the articles. She does great work. If you Google AVoice4TheLost you'll find her work. She covered this case better than I did. She has actually worked with the family. I urge you to check it out. I want to be clear when I say I am not trying to step on anyone's toes by covering this case. The more people cover cases like this. The more exposure they get. This isn't a case I would normally do as it thankfully got a lot of coverage in the media over the years. But I am glad I ended up writing this entry. I didn't pay attention to any of the podcasts or YouTubers that did this case. Although my dear friend Gabby did an episode on this case. It can be watched here. I dedicated Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls to this entry. It's one of my all time favorite songs. I really appreciate the recent emails from readers who are happy with the recent entries I published. It's very kind. I received one that was very humbling regarding the effort and detail I put into every entry I write. I can't say I am the best true crime blogger out there.
