Details of Disappearance

This is the area Alyssa was around the time she made the 911 call on April 10th 2009.

“On the 911 tape, Alyssa is asking for help,” said Russell, who was not allowed to hear the call but was provided a transcript. “There's somebody in the background telling her to come here. I don't know what they said – ‘I'll hurt you’ or ‘I'll kill you’ or something. Then the phone went dead.”

21 Year Old Alyssa Angelique McLemore was last heard from on the evening of April 9, 2009. Her grandmother told her that her mother was very ill. On April 10th at around 9:15 pm someone called 911 from Alyssa's phone. A female voice was heard asking for help but the call ended abruptly. The phone did not have the GPS turned on so the general location of the call could not be originated. The phone was out of service a few days after the 911 call and it no longer accepted phone messages. A witness reported seeing Alyssa talking to a man in a Green 1990s Model Pickup, possibly with an Oregon License Plate, near 30th Avenue South and Kent-Des Moines Road. Presumably, This same man was seen with Alyssa sometime prior to her going missing. They may have been acquainted with one another. This person is described as a white male. Sadly, Alyssa never returned home to see her mom. Her mother ended up passing away without seeing her daughter. Law Enforcement has refused to release the 911 call. Alyssa remains missing and her case is unsolved.

Analysis

It's obvious Law Enforcement needs to release the 911 audio. It's been way too long. It should've been done to begin with. What are the odds the guy still has the same green pickup truck after all these years? Hell, He may not even be alive. Who knows. The area where she was picked up leads...everywhere. It's a busy intersection. He could've taken her out of town or god knows where else. Time is of the essence here. I think the 911 call never being released really hurt the investigation. And the reason as to why is ludicrous. They were basically afraid they'd get too many calls/leads they wouldn't be able to filter them out. I understand to an extent. We all know that manpower is limited with all Law Enforcement Agencies. If you account for the amount of crimes that take place, divided by the number of officers on any Police Force and you'll see they are always working an uphill battle. I hope the family gets answers. As always, I miss you Irena & Until next time....
