Quick Entry #18: Where is Mear?

There isn't much about this case anywhere so this is gonna be a very quick entry. Even the Facebook Page run by his family seems to be dead. Mear was born in 1981 so I picked Private Eyes by Hall and Oates as the song for this entry. I want to apologize to Ashleigh Sommers of Ash Mysteries. I made a mistake by calling her out. And I am not simply gonna just delete it without owning it. She does great work. Please check out her site.

Details Of Disappearance

Mear was last seen taking his 3 children to Day Care in Wilmington, DE at 8:15 a.m. on 5/14/2012. He has never been seen or heard from again. His truck was later found parked next to the Christina River. Mear's keys & Cell Phone were both inside. Mear was battling depression at the time due to losing his construction job. He sent a text to his wife stating he was suicidal. Searches of the surrounding area including the Christina River provided no results. He remains missing. K-9s did track Mear's scent from the car to the river. One website states that witnesses at the time saw a man matching Mear's description jump into the River. I haven't seen any other site mention that however.
